Dana Banyasz, your Edward Jones financial advisor located at 574 Dover Center Road, and senior office administrator Karen Stanziano hosted a holiday open house Dec. 11 and invited guests to bring a donation for the no-kill shelter equipment needs list.
The response was generous as a lively crowd stopped by for holiday cheer and also left donations of dog and cat food, sanitizers, leashes, collars, laundry soap and other items that the shelter can use.
“The turnout was great,” said Banyasz. “I want to thank all our clients and those in the Bay Village community who supported this cause. It was great!”
Jeff Kocian, a Westlake resident and executive director of the Northeast Ohio SPCA, said, “The shelter is very, very grateful for the generosity of those who donated and also to Dana and Karen and the entire Edward Jones team for their efforts.”
Kocian added that the no-kill shelter successfully completed nearly 3,000 adoptions of dogs and cats this year.
