On 09/12/2014, at 2130 hrs, a Bay Village resident reported her 2001 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from behind Dover Commons. Several days later, her vehicle was recovered on East 55th Street in Cleveland. After investigating the crime, police developed a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant. On 02/06/2015, Bay Village Police arrested 19 year old Joseph Feliciano of Lakewood for the theft of the Jeep. He will face charges at Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.
Phones Stolen
On 02/10/2015, at 2229 hrs, two students reported their cell phones were stolen while they were attending dance class at Dover Commons. Police are investigating.
Fraud
On 02/13/2015, at 0815 hrs, a resident in the 29000 block of Lincoln reported that someone had fraudulently used her husband’s Visa card and charged several hundred dollars’ worth of merchandise to it.
Cold Dog
On 02/14/2015, at 1915 hrs, a Juneway resident called BVPD to report a dog was in a parked car in his neighborhood. He was concerned for the dog’s well-being because of the cold weather. An officer located the dog, and the owner. The dog was taken inside for the night.
