Veteran Moe’s Duo Brings Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand to West Side of Cleveland
“Welcome to Moe’s!®” will soon be heard on the streets of Rocky River, Ohio when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 21805 Center Ridge Road Friday, August 28. To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, the Rocky River Moe’s will host a series of community pre-opening events on August 26 and 27.
On Wednesday, August 26, the Rocky River Moe’s will host an All You Can Eat fundraising dinner and pep rally for the Rocky River High School football team from 5 to 8 p.m. As the name implies, guests can eat all the fresh and delicious Moe’s food they want for only $10. As part of its commitment to helping the community, the Rocky River Moe’s has selected the Rocky River Athletic Department as the recipient of 100 percent of the net sales from the fundraiser. The football season opens the next day, and the community is invited to the pep rally to show its school spirit and cheer on the team.
“We are looking forward to an exciting evening that will be fun for our students and will help raise funds for our athletic programs through the generosity of the local Moe’s owners,” said Mark Wagner, Rocky River Director of Athletics and Activities.
On Thursday, August 27, the attention to community spirit and giving shifts to the Rocky River community as a whole. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Rocky River Moe’s will host a special College and Community V.I.P. Party for all Rocky River residents, as well as all students, alumni, faculty and staff of all area colleges and community colleges. The first 75 customers through the door will receive free Moe’s burritos for a year* and all guests will receive a free Moe’s lunch**. In addition, free Moe’s spirit t-shirts will be given to the first 600 customers in line for the V.I.P. Party.
Later that evening from 5 to 8 p.m., the Rocky River Moe’s will host another $10 All You Can Eat pre-opening fundraiser event with 100 percent of the net sales benefitting the Valley Riding / Rocky River Stables, a non-profit group that provides therapeutic riding lessons for children and adults with disabilities and educational tours for all ages.
