Mercy Foundation ‘Taste of Friendship’ Benefits Emergency Department

Culinary fun was the theme of the night at Mercy’s Annual ‘Taste of Friendship’

Mercy Foundation’s annual September fundraiser, Taste of Friendship, is a fabulous festival of food held within the lavishly transformed setting of the Medical Office Building at the Mercy Regional Health Center Fri., Sept. 11.

This year’s event benefits the Emergency Department of Mercy Regional Medical Center.

“This year, the Mercy Foundation of Lorain County is honored to be celebrating our 11th Taste of Friendship event,” said Scott M. Pember, President. “This longevity would not be possible without the continued and generous support of our entire Lorain community.”

Since its inception, this vitally important fundraiser has generated resources for many programs and services that are an integral part of the Lorain community. It is an evening to be thankful and to give. “We are especially thankful to our sponsors, donor and media partners,” said Pember. “I also want to recognize our tireless and enthusiastic volunteers. The evening would not be possible without their efforts – to each and every one I extend my heartfelt thanks.”

The funds from Friday’s gala will be used to renovate the main emergency zone and enhance existing offerings, within the Mercy Regional Medical Center Emergency Department. The most modern and comfortable facility possible for patients and their families will be created.
