Bay Village Police: Passed Out Passengers

POLICE_Bay Village_RGBA Bay Village Police officer located a vehicle parked behind Heinen’s with two occupants passed out in the backseat on Dec. 11 at 0119 hrs. The 21 yoa male (Westlake resident) and 19 yoa female (Bedford resident) were both highly intoxicated. They were both arrested for alcohol related offenses and will face charges at RRMC.


Joseph Burke Law_WEB4On 12/13/2015, at 0022 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Dover Center near the railroad tracks for a traffic violation. After speaking with the 32 yoa female driver, the officer suspected the driver had been drinking. Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the Westlake resident was arrested for OVI. She will face charges at RRMC.


On 12/09/2015, at 1256 hrs, an Appleblossom resident reported he and his wife had been the victims of credit card fraud. Police are investigating.

Cars Entered

On 12/22/2015, at 0926 hrs, a resident in the 22000 block of Lake Rd. reported that two of his vehicles were entered overnight and items were taken. Police are investigating.

Kid Stuff

On 12/11/2015, at 2103 hrs, a resident in the area of Lincoln and Sutcliff called BVPD to report there was a group of kids in the area ringing doorbells and running away. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the group.
