Westlake Police: Woman OD’s Twice in One Day

A Westlake woman OD’d twice in a 24 hour period, saved by the heroin antidote Narcan both both times, report Westlake Police.POLICE_Westlake_RGB

Police state that the 24-year-old woman ODed in twice in 17 hours at her Columbia Rd. home. The first time was at 10:46 p.m. on Jan. 22. Westlake Fire Dept. revived her with Narcan and took her to St. John Medical Center. She did it again at 3 p.m. the next day. Westlake Police revived her with Narcan the second time and Westlake Fire took her to St. John Medical Center. A hypo, pills, drug residue, and other junkie paraphernalia were collected as evidence and will be analyzed for possible prosecution purposes.
