Get ready to see the story of an inspirational woman at the Cleveland International Film Festival!
Youth Challenge is excited to be a Community Partner of the 40th Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) taking place March 30-April 10 at Tower City Cinemas. Youth Challenge is partnered with the film “Right Footed,” scheduled to screen on Saturday, April 2, at 3:35pm and Sunday, April 3, at 7:30pm.
“Right Footed” documents the life of Jessica Cox, a young woman born without arms. Through her determination, she learned to use her feet to achieve independence and accomplish her goals, which include driving and flying airplanes. This uplifting film follows Jessica’s journey to advocate for disability rights in the U.S. and throughout the world.
Director Nick Spark will be attending the screenings and Jessica Cox will be there for the Sunday showing. Also, the International Women’s Air & Space Museum will be hosting a book signing with Jessica Cox on Sunday, April 3, from 4:00—5:30pm at the museum, located in the terminal of Burke Lakefront Airport.
