ANNOUNCING ‘CROCKER ROCKS’ MUSIC FEST
Crocker Park Reveals Details of New Blockbuster Summer Event
Music, food, drinks and games are all necessities for a great summer block party. Crocker Park has all that covered and much more for its upcoming event – Crocker Rocks Music Fest – which promises to be one rockin’ block party not-to-be-missed.
Day-long entertainment starts at 2PM on Sunday, June 26, all leading up to the main act, a performance by internationally-known alternative rock band, Lifehouse. Known for its hits such as “Hanging by a Moment,” “You and Me,” “Broken” and “First Time,” Lifehouse will perform at 7:30PM and admission for fans is free.
“This is an exciting year for Crocker Park with the opening of our expansion, which includes American Greetings Creative Studios, retail, restaurants and Ovation, our final phase of luxury apartments,” said Lisa Schwan, director of communications, Stark Enterprises. “It only makes sense that as our property continues to evolve, so too do our events. Crocker Rocks will be the largest concert we’ve ever held at Crocker Park and the result of many requests made by our guests and fans on social media. We heard what they had to say and are thrilled to bring this internationally-acclaimed group to perform at no charge to the public.”
The party starts at 2PM with live music on both the Main Stage located in the center circle outside Barnes and Noble as well as on the Roche Wealth Management of Raymond James Stage, located in the East Park outside Cheesecake Factory. Local bands such as Thunder Gun Express, Ace Molar and Billy Morris/Sunset Strip will fill the Main Stage leading up to Lifehouse. Playing in the East Park will be a rotation of local high school bands.
Cleveland’s favorite food trucks, a mix of interactive vendors and exhibitors, roaming entertainers as well as a well-appointed beer garden will fill the streets and keep the party going all day.
Crocker Rocks event sponsors include Cleveland’s Star 102, Q104, University Hospitals St. John Medical Center, Wells Fargo, Tri-C, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Hyatt Place Hotel and Burntwood Tavern.
