Quality schools make for quality communities. That is why the West Shore area of Cleveland is so desirable for homeowners.
The quality of schools in our region has been substantiated by US News & World Report’s April 18 list of Top Schools in Ohio.
Bay, Avon Lake, Avon and Rocky River each ended up in the state’s Top 25 for the Cleveland area.
Avon Lake has been rated fourth in the area, behind Hudson, Aurora and Solon.
Bay is sixth, right after Olentangy near Columbus. Rocky River placed 17th, and Avon comes in at a lofty 20th. Number One in the State is Walnut Hill High Schools.
Here is a look at our schools and their rank in the state:
–Avon Lake High School – 4th in the area (561 nationally);
–Bay High School – 6th in the area (583 nationally);
–Westlake High School – 10th in the area (968 nationally);
–Rocky River High School -17th in the area(1793 nationally);
–Avon High School, 20th in the area (2021 nationally).
