Avon Homecoming: It’s a Jungle Out There!

Avon’s homecoming theme for this year was ‘It’s a Jungle Out There.’

The good times rolled in lots of ways as the homecoming parade stepped off Thursday night and was followed by Friday’s 35-21 win over Westlake as the Eagle football team improved to 5-0.

Avon’s girl’s proved they are also ready to take to gridiron as the Thursday night Powder Puff football game showed a lot more than just fluff as the Juniors beat the Seniors on a last-minute touchdown. It was a great game with both teams trading scores while Principal Mrs. Buller conducted on-field interviews through the stadium PA system. If anyone tells these teams that they play like girls – well, you better believe they do!

The Avon football team travels to Lakewood this Friday night looking to go 6-0 on the season.
