Bay Village celebrates homecoming each fall with a traditional parade from Cahoon Park to the high school.
Last Friday’s annual parade was held in fine style, with participants enjoying great autumn weather. Bay’s homecoming court occupied the lead cars, featuring King Mark Majercik and Queen Martha Swanson. Also honored were Bay Alums in the Euclid Beach Rocket Car and the Class of 1966 – celebrating 50 years since their glory days as Rockets.
The Bay High Marching Band offered rousing music, and many Bay Village school and community groups took part as residents lined the way with smiles, and plenty of home-town fun.
The football team then capped things off with a big win over Elyria Catholic. Perfection!
