The Volunteer Leaf Rake-Up for the Avon Senior Citizen community Sunday was a hit.
“Thank you to all who volunteered their time to make a difference to our Senior Citizens of Avon,” said Annmarie Nyikes, Activity Planner for the Avon Senior Center. “The time that you all took to volunteer is greatly appreciated.”
Volunteers were parents from the Avon Community, teenagers and children from the Avon School system, plus a group of wonderful kids from St. Edward High School. “You each took time to touch these individuals in a very special way. Thank you for making a difference!” said Annmarie.
