Today, Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) appointed Representative Dave Greenspan (R-Westlake) as Vice Chairman of the House Transportation & Public Safety Committee.
“I am both honored and excited to serve the Westshore and Ohio in this new role and I wish to thank Speaker Rosenberger for his trust and confidence. My experience in serving on the inaugural Cuyahoga County Council and more specifically as Vice Chair of our County’s Public Safety and Justice Affairs Committee for six years and as a member of the Public Works and Procurement Committee provides me with perspective on issues that are important to our community and State.
I look forward to working alongside Chairman Doug Green (R-Mount Orab) to advance the critical issues that Ohio faces.”
Representative Greenspan has a wealth of experience in local government, serving in different capacities across the country. He was on the inaugural City Council for the City of Sandy Springs, Georgia and most recently served two terms as an inaugural Councilman for Cuyahoga County. He was chairman of the Finance and Budgeting Committee, directing the adoption of a $3 billion biennial budget.
Representative Greenspan is married with three children and resides in Westlake.
