Members of the community gathered to attend the unveiling of a one-of-a-kind community art piece on Thursday, March 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mercy Regional Medical Center’s Medical Office Building, 3600 Kolbe Road in Lorain.

Compiled by local artists Keelie Webb and Rick Grahovac, the piece features the artwork from the 2016 ‘Discovering You’ Conference participants.

Margeau’s “Free to Be” Project and the ‘Discovering You’ Conference were developed in honor of Mercy Board Member Gail Stumphauzer’s daughter and her dream to help women and girls to be “free to be” exactly who they are and to realize that who they are is good enough.

As announced at the 2016 Discovering You Conference, ownership of the ‘Discovering You’ activities and events has transitioned to Mercy. The artwork unveiling is the first event to commemorate this transition.
