Westlake ‘Plant Crafters’ Auction is Sat., April 1

Rosen & Co. Inc./Buddy Barton Auctions will sell the assets of Plant Crafters Garden Center at live public auction on Saturday, April 1st at 10AM.  After 30 years on Center Ridge Rd, the Burnett family has decided to retire.

Known for their high-quality home decor and gift items, the owners Molly and Bruce Burnett will miss the generations of customers they served.  “Plant Crafters was a labor of love” according to Bruce.  “We truly enjoyed providing our buyers with items you couldn’t find in the big box garden stores.”

The live auction is a complete liquidation of everything at the large Westlake store.  Items included range from nursery stock and related horticultural items, firewood, forklift, vintage and antique furniture and thousands of home and gift items.

Sheila Rosen Schiff, of the Rosen Barton auction firm states, “with spring on our door step, this auction provides bidders with a real opportunity to obtain high quality items for lawn/garden, weddings, parties and graduation by naming their own price.   This is an absolute auction, meaning, that everything will sell to the high bidders regardless of price.”

Auction goers can preview the facility located at 26185 Center Ridge Rd. from 10AM to 3PM, Thursday and Friday, March 30th and 31st or beginning at 8AM the morning of the auction.
