Bay Days Rewind – Summer Fun!

Bay Days 2017 was great fun for all. Terrific weather, good times and lots of memories.

Secret Bay Village member Sharon Marie O’Grady Pfaff said it best on a post on the popular facebook site:

“Strolling thru Bay Days on a summer night.

“Taking in all the sights and smells – sugars sweet cotton candy mixed with salt and vinegar fries.

“The sky is turning pale pink and the lake is a ribbon of pale blue tranquility.

“A constant hum from boats and jet skis sound like millions of bees hovering above. Screams from the Fun House drown out the music of the rides. Babies are asleep in strollers while toddlers on a sugar buzz race around with stuffed animal prizes clutched in their hands.

“Plates of pierogies and piles of onion rings on overloaded plates…..dinner under the lights. Dan Zola Orchestra performing in the Gazebo. A great band known for their songs from the past. I can’t help but notice the number of young families listening to them along side senior citizens reminiscing and sharing memories connected with these songs. The sun goes down and the lights get brighter and brighter – Bay Days are here again!”

Thank you Sharon – I hope you take it as a compliment that we borrowed your words!
