Westlake Honors All-Time Great Randy Pease No-Hitter

Westlake High remembered one of the school’s all-time great sports accomplishments this spring by celebrating the only no-hitter ever pitched in Demon baseball history.

1968 grad Randy Pease accomplished the feat 50 years ago this spring! In remembrance of his feat, Westlake Athletics invited Randy back to throw out the first pitch of the April 25th game against North Olmsted – a perfect time to honor Randy as he celebrates the 50th reunion of the Class of 1968 with fellow alums this year.

Randy was a truly great baseball talent, a natural fielder with a gift for robbing hitters from his third base spot. He never pitched before his senior season, but answered the call with the no-hitter against Rocky River. Congrats, Randy, on your amazing game and record that has stood for all these years!
