A great time was had by all on Saturday, June 23, at Rose Senior Living Avon’s first “Bark in the Park” and Pet Adoption.
The day was filled with different activities for pet owners and non-pet owners alike. Elite K-911 provided an obstacle course and tips for training your dog. In addition, visitors were able to participate in a fitness walk with a certified fitness instructor from University Hospitals Fitness Center. Balance tests courtesy of University Hospitals and a free blood pressure check from Ideal Homecare were also offered.
Rose Senior Living’s newly opened walking trail was a hit for all – including dogs and their owners. Not only was the day fun, but several pets from the Friendship APL also found their forever homes!
