26th Annual Big Band Dance/Concert

It’s time again to swing to the sound of the Big Band era at the 26th Annual Big Band Dance/Concert which will be held September 19 at Emerald Event Center in Avon on Just Imagine Drive at The Residence Inn. The Dan Zola Orchestra will be performing wonderful music of the big bands for dancing and listening pleasure. Advance tickets ARE ON SALE NOW at the North Ridgeville Senior Center, 7327 Avon Belden Road and the Lorain County Office on Aging, 320 N Gateway Blvd, Elyria, Lorain County Office on Aging Southern Satellite Office at 508 Dickson St in Wellington (440-647-0777) and Lorain County Office on Aging Northeast Satellite Office (440-949-8146) at 4575 East Lake Rd in Sheffield Lake for a Pre-Sale discount of $10.00 per ticket. Tickets will be sold at the door for $12.00 each. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to helping seniors.

The AbbeWood, First Federal of Lakewood, Bogner’s Funeral Home and Kryszak and Associates- Attorneys at Law are sponsoring the event. Because of their generous sponsorship, all proceeds from each ticket sold will help support programs and services of the North Ridgeville Office for Older Adults (Senior Center) and the Lorain County Office on Aging. These programs include transportation, home delivered meals and supportive services.

Each year over 300 senior citizens enjoy this exciting evening of dancing or just tapping their feet to the beat.  Music begins at 7 p.m. and the band plays until 10 p.m.
