Big Taste from Cafe Piccolo at The Normandy

Chef Christopher Licht

The new Arts and Demo Kitchen at The Normandy Senior Living’s Breakwater Apartments welcomed guests to big tastes from Avon restaurant Cafe Piccolo Monday afternoon as Chef Christopher Licht prepared two of his favorite recipes from Longi, Sicily.

Cavatelli Rossa and Cannoli were on the menu as Chef Christopher shared kitchen tips he learned from his grandma to ensure the best in authentic Italian cuisine.

“My favorite part of the day is when the restaurant is filled with guests at the dinner hour,” he said. “There is just so much noise. Then, when the food is served, everything is quiet……”

The tasting was just the first of many events that will be coming to The Normandy Senior Living’s new Breakwater Apartments and Lakeside Senior Living. Stay tuned!
