Always looking to be a great community partner, the popular Bistro83 at Mills Road and Rt. 83 in North Ridgeville recently donated $2,500 to benefit North Ridgeville Community Care.

The funds were raised at the 2nd annual Bistro83 Golf Outing hosted at Bob-O-Link on Aug. 12. “We were just very happy that so many local businesses stepped up to support our golf outing so we could make this donation. We are very grateful to them all,” said bartender Jeff Gresko, who has earned Lorain County Bartender of the Year honors through Best of Lorain County. He organized the event with controller Ryan Schultheiss and Bistro83 owner Bud Hagy.

“Donations like these are felt very deeply by us,” said William ‘Bud’ Hagy as he presented the check to June Yost, Executive Director, North Ridgeville Community Care.

“Whenever we get a generous donation like this, my mind just begins to race – where can we do the most good with it,” said Yost.

“Here or here or here, there are just so many needs and a donation of this size means so much.”

North Ridgeville Community Care is a nonprofit helping those in need in the community through a variety of support systems. Food, utility bills and rent are among the emergencies covered by Community Care when needs arise.
