The City’s first Volunteer Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Westlake Porter Public Library – 27333 Center Ridge Rd.
“The desire to make our community a better place is what connects us and fills us with purpose and meaning,” said Lydia Gadd, Director of Senior & Community Services. “Volunteering helps others, but it helps you, too. It helps combat stress, boosts self-esteem and can even teach new skills.”
