The best in community talent and entertainment came to the Westlake Performing Arts Center last weekend as the Westlake Parent Teacher Student Association hosted the 34th annual Green & White Revue.
The Green & White Revue is composed of students from all Westlake schools – Bassett, Dover, Hilliard and Holly Lane Elementary School, Dover Intermediate, Lee Burneson Middle School and Westlake High.
The 30 skits and performances staged Friday and Saturday evenings were chosen from many talented and deserving acts that auditioned for the show. All were amazed and entertained by the performances and the special talents and technology offered by the crew between acts. The evening was emceed by talented members of this year’s senior class, Alyssa Gruttadauria, James Fischer and Nick Schwochow.
The Green & White Revue is the major fundraiser for the Westlake High PTSA. It provides funds for all programming and events that support students and staff at the schools. “The show would not be possible without the hard work and dedication and many, many hours from parents, students, teachers and staff. A simple ‘thank you’ is not enough!” says Kim Mather, WHS PTSA President. “A special thank you to Lisa Skaggs and Chris Gruttadaria, our 2019 Green & White Revue committee co-chairs, and their committee members. Their commitment and dedication to this show is unwavering!”
