Avon Local Schools Wacky Wednesday

Avon Early Learning Center kindergartners Quinn O’Brien, 6; Lexie Pennington, 5; Andrew Horning, 6; Colin Kershaw, 6; and Bradley Wilson, 6 celebrate Wacky Wednesday during Dr. Seuss Week.

Students celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday (March 2) with a variety of themed-day activities throughout the week. The highlight of the week is Wacky Wednesday. Students and staff are encouraged to dress “wacky” from head to toe. Other theme days include Crazy Hat Day (Monday), Silly Socks Day (Tuesday), Wacky Wednesday, Thing Day (Thursday, wear anything with numbers) and Lorax Day (Friday, wear orange).
