Do deer interfere with your gardening plans and plantings? If they do, the Avon Garden Club has just the program to help you. We all struggle with deer these days, but there are ways to outsmart them! Noelle Clark Akin, Director of Communications and Education, Petitti Garden Center, will be the program presenter at the May 21, 2019, Avon Garden Club meeting. During this program Ms. Clark Akin will review some of the best deer resistant, and sometimes deer proof, plants as well as give an overview of which repellents work best. Attend the May Garden Club meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Orchid Room at Miller Nature Preserve to learn more during Ms. Clark Akin’s discussion of “Gardening with Deer”. The program will be held in the Orchid Room at the Miller Nature Preserve at 2739 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011. Contact Kathy, president of the Avon Garden Club, at (440) 668-3969 with inquiries.
