Avon Fishing Derby

Family Fun in the Neighborhood!

The Avon Lions Club’s annual Fishing Derby took place from 8 to 10 a.m. on June 8 at Northgate Park. The annual summertime tradition proved once again to be a big hit with one and all. Kids, dads, moms and grandparents all enjoyed some good, old-fashioned fun thanks to the Avon Lions Club. Bait was provided and prizes were awarded for the largest catch in each category for kids.
