It was a perfect summer evening for Movie Night in the Park presented by Avon Parks & Recreation on Saturday, August 3 at the Every Child’s Playground (located near the Avon Aquatic Facility) starting at 7 p.m.
Literally hundreds of families and kids came out to take part in various activities for all ages, including a bounce house, Game Truck, balloon artist, crafts, games, music, refreshments and fun. The movie was shown at dusk on a 40’ screen and it all was free for residents!
Many thanks to Avon Parks & Recreation, the French Creek Foundation and NOPEC as major sponsors and to A Grade Ahead, Avon Kiwanis, The Shops at Olde Avon Village, Anytime Fitness, the Avon Teachers Assoc., Bullfrog Custom T-Shirts, Lowe’s, the Lorain Public Library System, Panda Express, Peace, Love & Little Donuts, Starbucks Coffee, Avon Eye Design and Venue Church for their contributions in the many activities!
After 2 hours of great activities in the park, perfect summer weather made for a great night under the stars with entertainment by Disney movie Ralph Breaks the Internet – complete with FREE popcorn!
