About Westlake Meals on Wheels

Westlake Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers over 600 meals weekly serving neighbors within the communities of Bay Village, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Olmsted Township and Westlake. The program provides recipients with a hot and cold meal, including dessert Monday through Friday on a short or long-term basis. Cost of the two meal service is $9 daily, $45.00 weekly. “Our mission is to provide nutritious meals, combat social isolation, offer in-person safety checks during meal delivery and peace of mind for family members”, said Marie Patten Blatter, Executive Director of Westlake Meals on Wheels. Eligible recipients are those who are unable to shop or prepare meals safely for themselves. This includes the individuals who are temporarily ill, convalescing, disabled or home bound. Our service helps our neighbors live independently despite their personal limitations.

Westlake Meals on Wheels is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that receives no federal or government support. They are 100% dependent on the generosity of the community with minimal fees from the meal recipients.
