5.8 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease. By 2050, this number is projected to rise to nearly 14 million.
In 2019, Alzheimer’s and other dementias will cost the nation $290 billion. These costs could rise as high as $1.1 trillion by 2050.
Alzheimer’s disease is relentless, but so are we.
Join Normandy’s Ray of Hope on Sunday, October 6, for the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. This event is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association Cleveland Area Chapter and is part of the world’s largest effort to raise awareness and funds for a disease of which far too many of us are familiar with.
