Bay Village Foundation Bronze Plaque – A lasting gift

Have you ever strolled the Richard T. Martin Walking trail overlooking Lake Erie in Cahoon Park?  It is a beautiful walk this time of year.  Be sure to notice a treasure lining the bridge.  Bronze plaques installed on either side contain the names of Bay Village residents. You may recognize some of them.  They are individuals and families whose loved ones or friends have had lasting tributes installed to honor them.

You, too, could add a personalized plaque to the bridge for a special individual or family by contributing $2500. to the Bay Village Foundation. A beautiful well attended outdoor service is held annually on Memorial Day by the trail at which time the plaques are dedicated. Deadline for this year’s plaque is March 31, 2020. Contact Ann Gilmore Orin at 440 871-3154 or go to Thebayvillagefoundation.org for more information.

Funds contributed to The Bay Village Foundation are distributed to Bay Village private, non-profit, non-sectarian projects each year through a grant request program.  Several High School scholarships are also presented Bay High seniors.
