On December 25, 2019 at 9:07am, Bay Village Police responded to a call of a suspicious person in the 300 block of Breezewood Drive. Officers responded and learned that a white male in his 40’s took a package off of a resident’s porch. After an investigation, it was discovered that the homeowner had left out a nut-roll for someone from her church to pick up.
Over the Limit
On December 28, 2019 at 3:27am, Bay Village Police stopped a vehicle on Wolf Road at Parkside Drive for numerous traffic infractions. Officers spoke with the female operator, a 29 year-old Lorain resident, who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The operator failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. On station, the female agreed to take an Intoxilyzer test which showed a .206 blood alcohol content. She is facing charges in Rocky River Municipal Court.
