This virus is bad enough – don’t let yourself or your loved one take a financial hit or identity theft by falling for one of the scams that are going around. You DO NOT have to pay money to receive your stimulus check – and paying someone WILL NOT make the funds available to you more quickly!!
Scammers are taking advantage of fears surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) disease to steal money
and personal information.

Please look over the attached flyers. DO NOT reply to unsolicited emails or phone calls that ask for personal information or payments in GIFT CARDS …FOR ANYTHING! Please call WPD at 440-871-3311 for advice before you give out any information or buy gift cards.
