Avon-Avon Lake Team for Heroes Fund

The communities of Avon and Avon Lake have teamed this week to launch a campaign called the Covid-19 Heroes Fund. It has has been created to support our front line workers who work tirelessly to protect our residents.

The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and MercyHealth are participating with these two communities to show their gratitude toward these hospitals and their caregivers by making donations to the Heroes Fund, which will run until May 8.

There are three ways to give to the Heroes Fund:

1.) Buying a gift card from an Avon or Avon Lake restaurant and donating it to the Fund;

2.) Donating Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); or

3.) Making a monetary donation.
