De-Stress During the Unexpected: Coping with Uncertainty
Wednesday, August 12 (2-3 p.m.) – Is your Teen stressed about returning to school in the fall? Are they concerned about distance learning or homeschooling? This is a time of great uncertainty and uncertainty is a breeding ground for stress and anxiety. In this VIRTUAL workshop, your teen will have a safe, non-judgemental space to express and cope with feelings of stress, anxiety and uncertainty. They will be able to identify and cope with these very normal feelings and gain support through peers going through the same thing. Your teen will learn ways to manage stress during uncertain times through mindfulness, expression and stress management skills. For Teen Girls in grades 7-12. Registration begins July 29. Maker Monday: Design 3D-Printable Objects with Tinkercad (Online)
Monday, August 24 (7-8:30 p.m.) – Design 3D-printable objects with Tinkercad’s website, and after they’re printed, you can pick them up at the library! (This also counts as a 3D printing orientation). Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions, which will be sent the day of the program.
