Leslie Selig, Director of Community Services for the City of Bay Village, released the following letter to the community regarding Bay Village Senior Activities and the opening of the Bay Village Senior Center.

Hello Everyone,

In September, we’re talking baby steps to offer programming that we can do safely. Several activities are outside, and we’ll be offering our own programming via Zoom and YouTube. Don’t panic. You’ll find step-by-step instructions for both in the newsletter on pages 3 and 4.

You’ve heard that the Governor said senior centers may open on September 21. The Bay Village Senior Center will not open at that time. We will wait to see what happens when schools re-open, and the effect, if any, on the community.

Our primary concern has been, and will continue to be, your safety. Masks are required and all activities will practice social distancing. We’re armed with hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. We’ve got this.

With that said, the most important thing to tell you is: WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!
