Duck Brand Scavenger Hunt – Flower Wall

Seek, find and snap! Beginning Labor Day Weekend, Avon-based Duck® Brand will host a free, end-of-summer scavenger hunt at outside locations throughout the city of Avon, OH featuring larger-than-life duct tape sculptures created by artists sponsored by the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Participants can complete the scavenger hunt at their own pace over a four-week period, between September 4 and October 2, for a chance to win product and gift card prizes up to $1,000.

Each year, artists sponsored by the Art Academy of Cincinnati create larger-than-life sculptures using Duck® brand duct tape to exemplify the theme of the Annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival, a local event that typically takes place every summer.

“Unfortunately, the 2020 Festival was cancelled due to COVID-19, but we still wanted to find a way to showcase these extraordinary creations that celebrate our city,” said Ashley Luke, senior product manager, duct tapes at Shurtape Technologies, parent company of Duck Brand. “These students put an incredible amount of time and effort into the construction of their artwork and they deserve to be in the spotlight.”

The eight sculptures, reflective of this year’s City of Blooms Festival theme, will be placed near schools, parks and city buildings, including:
