Blessing Box at Prince of Peace in Westlake

Have you seen Prince of Peace’s new Blessing Box? This is an emergency, self-serve FREE pantry, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s for anyone who has trouble buying things in a grocery store because of health or financial concerns. You don’t need to sign up or ask permission to use the box — just take what you need, when you need it. The box is located outside POP, near the wheelchair ramp on the church’s west side. It currently has food items including canned chicken, peanut butter, soup, beans, and crackers. It also has some household cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items.

The box was created as an Eagle Scout project by Prince of Peace member [Nolan Gleespen], with assistance from Boy Scouts of Troop 208 and POP member John Cuciak.

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is located at 28455 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake.
