City of Rocky River Construction Update – October 2, 2020

Rocky River Police Station – The garage floor is in the process of being poured and the second floor of the station is expected to be poured next week. Electrical and plumbing installations are continuing on schedule. The pre-bid meeting for landscaping will be held next week.

Center Ridge Complete Streets – Boring for utilities under the street are ongoing along with finalizing the placement of signal and pedestrian poles. Bases should begin installation within two weeks.

Bradstreet’s Landing Waterfront Improvement Project – The contract has been awarded by City Council and a pre-construction meeting was held this week. The contractor is working on pre-construction testing with construction work starting in a few weeks.

Crack & Joint Sealing Program – Contract has also been awarded by City Council and work will begin mid-October.

West River Estates Tree & Sidewalk Project – Project is completed with only punch list items remaining.

2020 Street Repair Program – Paving is in progress on several streets. Concrete repairs on Idlewild begin on Monday. Wynwood, Shoreland, Scenic, Eldora and Eastlook will be paved beginning on Monday. There may be temporary access limitations to your residence.

Sidewalk Improvement Project – City has completed field work and the project is currently out to bid. Sidewalk blocks will be replaced this fall.
