St. Paul Westlake: “We Love Our Pastors” Celebration Oct. 17-18

Churches across the nation have chosen October to set aside time to honor the Pastors of the local congregation.  “We Love Our Pastors” is the theme chosen for this year’s celebration at St. Paul Westlake located at  27993  Detroit Road.

Board of Elders Chair, Cal Thomay declared, “We want to express our gratitude and thankfulness for our pastors for the work that they do that often goes unnoticed and unrecognized, especially during this challenging year.”  The pastors led a full court press to ensure that every member was contacted, had access to live streamed services , daily  on-line Bible Study, weekly prayer time,  pastoral care and Holy Communion.  

St. Paul will be celebrating the pastors and their wives during service times the weekend of Oct 17-18,  with cards, letters and gifts of appreciation during worship times  The Pastors to be honored are Pastor Jeff Smith and wife Melissa, Pastor Josh Gremminger and wife Anna and Pastor Dave Buegler and wife Sue.

 Member Linda Luecke Potter said,” At a time of isolation and division in our nation it is paramount to keep community and our Pastors have gone the extra mile to keep us connected, purposeful and comforted.  They are our essential workers!”
