WPD responded to a fairly serious property damage crash on Crocker Rd on 10/18/20. While officers and firefighters attended to those involved, our Ptl JP Toth and his K9 Timmy noted that a 13 and 8yo were pretty shaken up. Allowing the kids to interact with Timmy for a couple of minutes calmed a stressful event for the kids. This is just an example of how our officers serve those who live, work and travel through Westlake. Most of these interactions go unpublicized but they happen every day. There were no reported injuries in this accident.
