Mondays, November 16, 23 and 30 (9 a.m.-8 p.m.) Teen Craft Pick Up – Stop by Youth Services to pick up a craft kit while supplies last. Grades 7-12.
Monday, November 16 (11-11:30 a.m.) Constructing Plots: NaNoWriMo Month Writing Tutorial (Live) – Join us on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube for a writing series to support your NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) writing goals! For Tweens, Teens and Adults.
Monday, November 16 (7-8:30 p.m.) Transferring Memories to Digital at Home (Live) – On Zoom, learn what you can check out from WPPL’s Non-Traditional Materials Collection to transfer your VHS tapes to DVD, cassettes to MP3, records to mp3, and more! Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive instructions, which will be sent a few days before the program.
Tuesday, November 17 and 24 (All Day) Dream Big: Engineering Our World (On Demand) – You’re invited to participate in an exciting virtual engineering experience introducing engineers and engineering for people of all ages, especially families and children. Travel the world to see engineering in action, from the Great Wall of China, to solar car races in Australia, and underwater robots in the USA. Please register. Once registered, the URL and passcode will work all day. You will receive Vimeo.com links and passcodes to English, Spanish, and Closed-Captioned versions later in an email).
Tuesdays, November 17 and 24 (11-11:30 a.m.) Family Storytime (Live) – Join us on ZOOM for an interactive storytime featuring books, rhymes, songs and movement. For families with children up to 2-6, siblings welcome. Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions on the day of the program.
Tuesday, November 17 (7-8 p.m.) Currently Reading (Live) – Bring a book to rave about or find your next favorite! An open discussion for Teens in grades 7-12 who love to read. Please register. Wednesday, November 18 (11-11:30 a.m.) Sing and Dance! (Live) – Join Miss Nancy on ZOOM for Sing and Dance! Participants must provide an email address in order to receive Zoom instructions which will be sent the day of the program. Ages 2-6.
Wednesday, November 18 (2-3 p.m.) Wednesday Afternoon Book Discussion – This month’s title is The Stationery Shop by Marjan Kamali. Please register to receive Zoom instructions.
Wednesdays, November 18 and 25 (4-5 p.m.) Teen Writers Group: Writers Room (Live) – A bi-weekly meet-up for writers in grades 7-12. We’re working our way through National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) with a dedicated hour just to write. We’ll reserve the last 15 minutes for any writer in need of group brainstorming. Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions, which will be sent the day of the program.
Wednesday, November 18 (7-8 p.m.) A Taste of Tea: Tea Preparation and Health Benefits (Live) – Join us on Zoom as we learn all about tea! Paula from Storehouse Teas will teach us how to properly select and brew tea, while also explaining the health benefits of various varieties. Please register. Thursdays, November 19 and 29 (3:30-4:30 p.m.) WPPL Roblox Club – Love Roblox? Then WPPL has a club for you! We have some private servers set up for Tweens in grades 4-6 to hang out with their friends and enjoy some of the most popular games via Zoom. Please register.

Friday, November 20 (2-3 p.m.) Dream Team: Chats with Changemakers featuring Avery Bang (Live) – High school host Tiffany will chat with Avery, a Civil Engineer and CEO of Bridges to Prosperity, where she leads her team in building trailbridges in some of the most isolated places on earth. Please register.
Saturday, November 21 (11-11:30 a.m.) Mystery STEAM Bag Challenge (Live) – Join us on Zoom to share your Mystery STEAM Bag Designs. Grades 1-2. Participants must register for and pick up STEAM Bags, which will be available for pick up starting November 14.
Saturday, November 21 (2-2:30 p.m.) Yoga with Miss Jen (Live) – Calm your body, mind and spirit in this live Zoom Yoga class taught by Miss Jen, certified Yoga Instructor. Teens and adults. Tuesday, November 24 (4-5 p.m.) Dream Team: Engineering Extravaganza – Join us for the finale of November’s “Dream, Build, Create” series is an introduction to engineers and engineering.
