Westlake High Grad Steve Richetti Named to Biden Post

1975 Westlake High graduate Steve Richetti has been named to a position in the offices of President-elect Joe Biden.

National news sources report that Richetti will serve as Counselor to the President.

Mr. Richetti served as Chief of Staff to then-Vice President Biden in the Obama administration and Deputy Chief to President Clinton.

Richetti was named to the Westlake High Alumni Hall of Fame in 2018. HOF classmates include Mrs. Sharon Chase Green (‘85), Heather Breeden Hauk (‘90),  the 1945-46 undefeated football and basketball teams, Norm Irwin, outstanding teacher and coach, boys basketball coach 1970-1983, Joe Scofield, exemplary teacher and coach for 35 years, and Mary Lou Glass Paiko, outstanding teacher and coach.

Richetti was named to the WHS Distinguished Hall of Fame.
