Nolan Sooy Signs His “National Letter of Intent” with Johnson & Wales University

Bay High School senior Nolan Sooy (center), continuing his soccer career at Johnson & Wales University, signs his “National Letter of Intent” with his mom Emalee, dad Karl, Assistant Soccer Coach Jeff Linhart and Soccer Coach Bobby Dougherty (back).

Bay High School would like to congratulate Nolan Sooy for signing his “National Letter of Intent” with Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.  Nolan will continue his academic and athletic career for Men’s Soccer at Johnson & Wales.

During Nolan’s senior year, he earned First Team All-Great Lakes Conference, First Team All-Greater Cleveland Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association, Second Team All-Ohio, and the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Academic Award.  He also earned his 4th varsity letter in soccer.

During Nolan’s junior year, he earned Second Team All-GLC and Honorable Mention All-GCSSCA.

During Nolan’s sophomore year, he earned Honorable Mention All-GLC & All GCSSCA.

Finally, Nolan was part of three Great Lakes Conference Championships, two District Championships, one Regional Championship and one State Runner-up Team.
