Monday, March 1 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Baby-sitter’s Club Activity Bag Pick Up: Kristy’s Bag – Calling all Babysitters! Welcome to the Baby-sitters Club. Pick up your Babysitters club activity bags at the Youth Services Desk. Grades 5-8. Registration begins February 22.
Mondays, March 1 and 15 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Teen Craft Pick Up – Come to the Drive-Up Window to pick up a craft kit from February 1-7. Grades 7-12. Registration begins one week before each pick-up.
Monday, March 1 (11-11:30 a.m.) Art Smarts (Live) – Join us on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube to learn about Charley Harper and how to make puffy paint at home!
Tuesday, March 2 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Dr. Seuss Craft Pick-Up – Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday! Stop by the Youth Services Department beginning March 2 to receive a bag filled with Dr. Seuss crafts! Ages 2-6. Registration begins February 23.
Tuesdays, March 2, 9 and 16 (11-11:30 a.m.) and Wednesday, March 10 (6:30-7 p.m.) Family Storytime (Live) – Join us on ZOOM for an interactive storytime featuring books, rhymes, songs and movement. For families with children up to 2-6, siblings welcome. Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions on the day of the program.
Tuesday, March 2 (1-1:30 p.m.) Dr. Suess Storytime (Live) – Join us on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube for a fun family storytime celebrating Dr. Suess!
Tuesday, March 2 (6-6:30 p.m.) Great Decisions (Live) – Great Decisions world events discussion. Based on materials produced by the Foreign Policy Association. Readings will be available ahead of time. Please register.
Tuesday, March 2 (7-8 p.m.) Silent Reading Book Club (Live) – Have you been meaning to read more? Join other teens in grades 7-12 via Zoom for a dedicated hour to silently read. Bring your own book. Registration begins February 23.
Wednesday, March 3 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) Horror Film Club: Online Edition – Are you scared yet? The Horror Film Club returns for another online viewing! New members are always welcome, but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Please register. Due to an abundance of caution surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Horror Film Club will meet online using the video sharing site Watch2Gether. To participate, please check the event on the library’s website as early as 6 p.m. on the day of the program. There will be a link to take you to the site. Please note: You do not need an account with Watch2Gether to participate.

Thursdays, March 4 and 11 (3:30-4:30 p.m.) WPPL Roblox Club – Love Roblox? Then WPPL has a club for you! We have some private servers set up for Tweens in grades 4-6 to hang out with their friends and enjoy some of the most popular games via Zoom. Please register.
Thursday, March 4 (7-8 p.m.) Thursday Night Book Discussion – Join us as we launch a new discussion group! March’s title, The Last Flight by Julie Clark, is available in ebook format in the Hoopla app. The group will meet on the first Thursday of the month in March, May, July, September & November. Due to the extended time frame, participants will need to obtain their own copies of each month’s title. Please register.
Fridays, March 5 and 12 (11-11:30 a.m.) First Chapter Friday! (Live) – Join us on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube to hear our Youth Services staff read the first chapter of a book suitable for children in grades K-4.
Saturday, March 6 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) Suma Wears Your Mask Supply Pick-Up – Suma needs some new masks to celebrate National Library Week in April. Pick-up a mask to decorate at home and return it to the library where it will be featured in a puma photo shoot! All masks must be returned by 9 p.m. on March 15 to be featured in the photo shoot. Registration begins February 27.
Sunday, March 7 (1-5 p.m.) Fancy Nancy Perfectly Paris Party Supply Pick-Up – Bonjour! You are invited to a Fancy Nancy Perfectly Paris Party! Pick up your party kit and get ready for the party on March 14 at 2 p.m. Ages 5-8. Registration begins on February 28. Registering for this event also registers you for the party. An email address must be provided to receive Zoom instructions, which will be sent the day of the event.
Monday, March 8 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Tween Craft Pick-Up – Come to the Youth Services Department starting today for a tween craft kit. Kits will be available for pick-up through 5 p.m. on March 14 unless other arrangements are made. Grades 4-6. While supplies last. Registration begins March 1.
Monday, March 8 (7-8 p.m.) Alternatives to Cable TV (Live) – Frustrated with cable service? This program will help you sort through the variety of viewing alternatives available. Learn about digital media players, streaming services, and additional options. Event streamed live via Zoom. Please register to receive the Zoom event link. Please register. Tuesday, March 9 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Calling All Crafters: Small Easter Wreath Take-Home Kit – Make a beautiful Easter wreath with silk flowers and enhancements. Register March 1-6 and pickup March 9-13.
Tuesday, March 9 (1-3 p.m.) Career Transition: Targeting Your Job Search (Live) – Times have changed and so have your needs and desires when it comes to new employment. Remote work, hybrid jobs, shared jobs, and contract work have become a staple in the market. What fits your lifestyle and financial needs now? Let’s take a look at options and how to find those jobs for which to apply. Put your creative hat on and join us. Please register. Tuesday, March 9 (7-8:30 p.m.) Tuesday Evening Book Discussion (Live) – Join the WPPL Tuesday Evening Book Club on Zoom for a discussion of The Dutch House by Ann Patchett. Please REGISTER to receive a Zoom invitation and instructions. Participants without a computer, tablet or smartphone can join using a traditional phone.

Wednesdays, March 10 and 24 (4-5 p.m.) Teen Writers Group (Live) – An online Zoom meet up for writers in grades 7-12. This is a dedicated hour to just write. We’ll save the last 15 minutes for any writer in need of some group brainstorming. Registration begins one week before each program. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions, which will be sent the day of the program.
Friday, March 12 (4-4:30 p.m.) Cup of Science (Live) – Join Miss Holly on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube for a fun video on Going Green! Recommended for ages 4-6.
Saturday, March 13 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) Kids in the Kitchen Supply Pick Up and Program – Pick up a recipe kit then tune into the live kitchen demo on March 15 at 3 p.m.! For children ages 8-12 with special needs and peers who may not be successful in a typical hands-on program. If your child has food allergies, please contact the Youth Services Department at 440.250.5471. Each simple recipe is presented with minimal steps and uses inexpensive, easy-to-find tools and ingredients. Registration begins March 6. Registering for this event also registers you for the ZOOM program. An email must be provided so you can receive ZOOM information on the day of the meeting.
Saturday, March 13 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) STEAM Maker Lab Supply Pick-Up – It’s almost spring and time to get excited about planting! We’ll provide most of the supplies needed to complete 2-3 projects about plants. Kits available in the Youth Services Department starting on March. Grades 3-5. Please Note: Registration for the pick-up also registers you for the March 20 STEAMMaker program on Zoom. Please provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions before the program.
Saturday, March 13 (11-11:30 a.m.) Adapted Storytime (Live) – Join us for this ZOOM storytime designed for children who may not be successful in a typical storytime. Content is geared toward ages 3-7 years. Registration begins March 6. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions, which will be sent the day of the program.
Monday, March 15 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Spring Sensory Kit – Pick up a sensory kit and experience the sounds, scents, sights, and textures of the season with your child! Ages 3-7. Registration begins March 8.

Monday, March 15 (7-8:30 p.m.) Investors Interest Group: Zoom Edition (Live) – The cost of Long-term Care can quickly drain a family of their resources. Elder law attorney Elizabeth Perla will discuss how one puts together a Long-term Care Plan that can save your family money. Please register. Tuesday, March 16 (4-5:15 p.m.) Introduction to Finding Grants – Are you new to the field of grantseeking? Discover what funders are looking for in nonprofits seeking grants and how to find potential funders in this introductory course. Please register. Tuesday, March 16 (7-8 p.m.) Currently Reading (Live) – Bring a book to rave about or find your next favorite! An open discussion for teens in grades 7-12 who love to read. Please register.
