Third Egg in the Nest!

UPDATE: There is a third egg in the nest at Redwood Elementary School in Avon Lake! Eagle watchers confirm the egg arrived yesterday (March 3) at 6:59 p.m. An egg takes approximately 35 days to hatch so we will be on baby eaglet watch in a few weeks.

UPDATE: Eagle watchers from the Avon Lake Bald Eagles Nest Facebook page posted the second egg arrived at 7:02 p.m. tonight (Saturday, Feb. 27).

Stars and Stripes are going to be parents again! An egg was spotted last night in the nest at Redwood Elementary School in Avon Lake. Bird watchers on the Avon Lake Bald Eagles Nest Facebook page noted the exact confirmation of the egg’s arrival to be at 10:06 p.m. last night (Tues. Feb. 23). Congrats Stars and Stripes!
