RTA Free Rides
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is offering free rides on bus, rail, Park-N-Ride and paratransit from June 13 through June 19, 2021.
The promotion is in conjunction with the June 13 launch of RTA’s system redesign, called NEXT GEN RTA.

Heritage Home Program
Bay Village is proud to announce we are continuing participation in the Heritage Home Program for the 2021 calendar year. The Heritage Home Program is a specialized house maintenance and rehab program for owners of homes that are 50 years old or older. The program is administered by the Cleveland Restoration Society (CRS). For more information please call 216-426-3116 or online at www.heritagehomeprogram.org.
Heritage Home Program loans can be for interior as well as exterior repairs, maintenance, additions and modernization projects. Kitchens and bath remodels are two popular uses of Heritage Home Program loans.
If your house in Bay Village is at least 50 years old, you have access to:
Free Technical Assistance:
- A site visit conducted by Heritage Home Program staff to help advise on maintenance or improvement projects
- Assistance finding contractors for projects
- Help reviewing estimates from contractors
- Color consultations for exterior painting
- Low-Interest Financing to Cover Project Costs
- Fixed-rate equity loans as low as 2%
- Most projects qualify, both interior and exterior
The free technical assistance and advice offered by the Heritage Home Program is completely impartial and independent. CRS does not have any products or services that it sells to the homeowners and does not charge the homeowner for the advice.

BAYarts Thursday Market – Celebrating 7 years!
TIME: Thursday Market takes place from 4-7 pm Thursday nights at 28795 Lake Rd.
Enjoy local food and art vendors, grab lunch from the food trucks, and purchase Art To Go Kits & shop items from the BAYarts table. The gallery and gift shop will also be open! Free to attend, dog-friendly, and family-friendly.

BAY DAYS STARTS JUNE 30TH!
Wed., June 30th – Sat., July 3rd – After a year hiatus, the Bay Village Kiwanis have been working hard to bring back Bay Days, planning a fun-filled 4-day long event. All of your favorite events and activities will be returning. The booths and rides will open at 12 noon daily and go until 10:30 pm. The Gala Fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 3rd at 9:45 pm in Cahoon Park.

Bay Days 5-Mile Race & Kids’ Fun Run
Cleveland West Road Runners is sure that you share our excitement for getting back to running and racing together. We are thrilled to announce in-person racing is approved for the 2021 version of the BAY DAYS 5-MI & KIDS’ FUN RUN. This year’s event will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 3rd (yes, we really mean July 3rd) as part of the annual Bay Days festival in Bay Village. This is always a great way to kick off your Independence holiday celebration. Plan to bring your whole family and your friends on Saturday morning for the race then stick around for the Bay Days festival and finish off your day with the big fireworks show that evening.

Covid-19 Vaccines for Homebound Individuals
The City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County are partnering with local entities to vaccinate homebound individuals. The Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging is screening individuals for eligibility.
Referrals can be made by contacting Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging at 216-621-0303. When making a referral, please be prepared to provide the individual’s name, demographic information, DOB, phone number, and address.
Homebound persons include those who need the help of another person or medical equipment such as crutches, a walker or wheelchair to leave their home, or their medical provider believes that their health or illness could get worse if they leave their home, therefore they typically do not leave their home.

The Secret Gardens of Bay Village group will hold their annual Secret Garden Walk on July 11. This year they are offering 3 options:
- A virtual tour – upload pictures to the the Secret Gardens of Bay Village Facebook event page.
- A drive-by front yard tour with a map of Bay Village gardens to view.
- An in-person tour of your yard.
