Avon Bike Parade

When: Saturday, July 3-Sunday, July 4, following game • Where: Crushers Stadium, 2009 Baseball Blvd.

The Avon Bike Parade will take place on Saturday, July 3rd starting at 10 am. Parade starts and finishes at the Avon Aquatic Center. Visit www.cityofavon.com for more details.

Fireworks in Avon will take place on Saturday, July 3rd, at Mercy Health Stadium after the baseball game. The Crushers will take on the Windy City ThunderBolts at 7:05 PM followed by the fireworks. If you aren’t in the stadium for the game, you can watch the fireworks from the grass area on Recreation Lane, off Route 611 – by the Speedway gas station. There will also be fireworks after the July 4 Crushers game.

Avon Lake

When: Friday, July 2, 6 p.m.-10 p.m. • Where: Weiss Field, 33401 Webber Road

Avon Lake celebrates our nation’s birthday on July 2 with the Summer Concert Series featuring Anne E. DeChant and The Spazmatics at Weiss Field from 6 – 10 p.m. the day ends with Fireworks about 10 p.m. Free and open to the public, the event includes live music, food trucks, and obviously, fireworks. On July 3 Rockin’ the Rails presents “The Diamond Project” Neil Diamond tribute Band from 7 – 9 p.m. at Beach Park Station. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Bay Village Fireworks are scheduled for July 3 at 9:45 p.m. during the Bay Days Celebration running from Wednesday, June 30 through Saturday, July 3. Bay Days will feature carnival rides, live music, car cruise-in, 5 mile run and kids fun run, bike parade, vintage baseball game and more! The celebration ends with fireworks on July 3. The Freedom Festival is a ticketed event for the whole family full of entertainment and ending with fireworks at 10 p.m. Come enjoy food and beverages, an inflatable village, sporting activities, hayride, NEO Bubble Soccer, face painting, caricature artist and balloon twister, stilt walker, magician, fire juggling and more! The Westlake Fourth of July celebration kicks off with a parade at 1 p.m. from Burneson Middle School on Dover Center Rd. then heads down Hilliard Blvd. east to Clague Park. A ceremony to honor America’s Birthday will follow at the park about 2:15 p.m. Clague Park will be the site for other events including the 2021 Annual Charity Classic Car Show, balloon clowns and face painters, games at the Aquatic Center, food and drink vendors after 4 p.m. and ending with Fireworks at dusk.
