Chief Bosley was honored at a reception at the Avon Police Station last Thursday afternoon where he was greeted by dozens of well-wishers from the department and the community. Chief Bosley was also presented a proclamation from Mayor Bryan Jensen and a commemorative plaque from Capt. Larry Fishbach on behalf of the department. Chief Bosley joined the Avon Police Dept. in 1999 and became chief in 2011. Lt. Daniel Fishbach will assume the duties of Chief of Police in July.
