The City of Westlake celebrated Hindu Heritage Month with a Proclamation outside of City Hall Oct. 8. Mayor Dennis M. Clough recognized the many positive aspects of the Hindu community alongside Finance Director Prashant Shah. It is the third-largest religion in the world (after Christianity and Islam), emphasizing strong family values, ethics, prosperity and peace, just to name a few. We greatly appreciate those who were able to join us today and want to recognize all of the valued members of our Hindu community here in Westlake.
