Art on Display in Westlake

This photo was taken in the Bradley Woods Reservation in Westlake. It is called “Reflections at Water’s Edge.”

Stop in to the Westlake Community Services Center to view a display of photographs by local artist and Westlake resident Neil Doren.

Those of you who used to enjoy the former St. John Festival of the Arts may recognize Neil’s work, as he was one of the regular artists at that event, as well as many of the other local art shows. The subjects of Neil’s work may also have a sense of familiarity as many of his pieces were taken in our local Metroparks.

Most of the artwork is also available for sale, with proceeds benefiting the Plus Fifty programs in memory of Neil’s late wife Donna. While you are here, ask one of the staff for a tour of the building and stop by the Connections Cafe (open Tuesday-Friday, 10:30am-3pm) to sample Chef Garrett’s cooking!
